Danny Epstein received his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Denver, graduating in 2015. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and currently lives and works there in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Epstein identifies primarily as a painter with an open practice involving installation, sculpture, video, and sound. Epstein’s work was most recently exhibited in Chicago at a three person show at Baby Blue Gallery, a group show at the Hyde Park Art Center with Cleaner Gallery, as well as in exhibitions at The White Page and Yeah Maybe in Minneapolis. Epstein is a participant in autonomous and liberation movements, as well as workplace and tenant struggles, and has written and continues to write about his experiences and on topics of politics and art broadly.
